Emad Meteb (Standard Liège, Belgium)
Striker Emad Meteb signed for 2 years for Standard Liège last week. He will wear the 10 and try to help Standard to get a better result than last season when they only finshed 8th in the Jupiler League.

Re: Emad Meteb (Standard Liège, Belgium)
Emad FIASCO. First he wanted to cancel the deal with Standard because of apparent recurring 'pains in the back'. Next we hear that it's a plan for him to play for Ahly again in January (!?). Now, apparently, there's another excuse for canceling the deal: his university has expelled him and he is required for military service officially (even though he obtained the permit from the military service to travel to Belgium to begin with). Bad image for us.

Re: Emad Meteb (Standard Liège, Belgium)
to sum it up, egyptian players are the most nonprofessional players. an european manager has to think 10 times before signing any egyptian player.
- Meteb (cancelled Bristol- and now Standard-transfer)
- Gedo (signing for Zamalek/Ahly)
- Hadary (Sion transfer while contracted at Ahly)
- Zaki (called by steve bruce the most unprofessional player he ever worked with)
- Shikabala (signed for 2 Clubs, PAOK & Zamalek)
Most of Egyptian Players dont respect their contracts. Contract Breach is nothing special. And People asked why we have only a few players in europe, thats funny! After winning 3 African Cups in a row, european teams still dont want to sign egyptian players. The image of our players cant get worse, i think?
