African Confederations Cup 2010/2011
Gaborone United unbeaten run at home in the CAF club competition this year continued last Saturday when they beat Egypt's Haras El-Hodoud 1-0 in the Botswana capital in a last 16 first leg match.
The two sides were locked at 0-0 in the first half of the first leg match played at the University of Botswana Stadium in Gaborone. Gaborone United scored the games’ lone goal in the 65th minute through attacking midfielder Tshepo "Schoolboy” Molefe.
Gaborone United are hoping to become the first Botswana team to reach the mini-league stage of the CAF competition while Haras El Hodoud is targeting a third successive appearance in the group stage of the Orange CAF Confederation Cup.

Re: African Confederations Cup 2010/2011
Haras won 8-1 at home to advance to the group stage of the Confed Cup. The group stage will look like this :
Group A
Ittihad (Libya)
Al Hilal (Sudan)
ASFAN (Niger)
Djoliba (Mali)
Group B
FUS Rabat (Morocco)
Zanaco (Zambia)
Haras Al Hodood (Egypt)
CS Sfaxien (Tunisia)
It should be noted that this is the first time that clubs from 8 different countries have qualified to the group stage. All previous editions had featured at least two teams from the same country with Tunisia even sending 3 teams to the group stage in the 2008 edition.
