Now that it's over...your impressions about SA 2010?
For me it started off as a weak creature and then it turned into a snowball effect of excitement. It wouldn't have been a surprise to predict that The Netherlands and Spain would reach the final, two of the top five teams in the world already. But it was. Moreover, the Argentinian myth led by the God Messi was destroyed and shattered by a solid consistant German machine. Best of all Maradona was finally given the red nose he deserved for his circus. The colour Orange swept away the samba lads who forgot their correct dancing steps one more time. France was more like an absurd play, that didn't quite work out. Africa was a disappointment, except for Ghana who provided yet another chance for The Pharaohs to try and break that quarter final barrier - one day, and if they qualify before Mubarak's grand children come into power. Then came the final historic setting...the world's Naranja heartbreakers vs. The Spanish Armada. Re-affirming their philosophy and making their point clearly heard for the third time the Dutch refused to win...handing over the title to the European champions. But it was a worthy battle, far more memorable than that Italy/France head butt.

What struck me was the white noise created by the vuvuzela, infamously killing genuine and authentic atmosphere from the 'terraces'.
